Etiquette of Golf
- No-one should move, talk or stand close to or directly behind the ball or hole when a player is addressing the ball or making a stroke.
- No player should play until the players in front are out of range.
- In the interest of all, players should play without delay.
- Players searching for a ball should allow other players to pass them and should not continue their play until those players are out of range.
- Before leaving a bunker, a player should carefully fill up all the holes made by him therein.
- Twosomes, threesomes or foursomes should have precedence of and be entitled to pass any other kind of match.
- If a match fails to keep its pace on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should allow the following match to pass.
- Any match playing a whole round is entitled to pass a match playing a shorter round.
Local Rules:
- Out of Bounds
- Beyond any hedge or fence bounding the course.
- Behind the net and fences to the left of 1/10th fairway.c. Beyond the right posts to the right of 7/16th holes.
- Ground under repair
- Areas delineated by a white circle are Ground under repair.
- Rules 25-1 applies.
- Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions. Rule 24-1 applies.
- Protection of trees.
- If a staked tree interferes with a players stance or the area of his intended swing , the ball must be lifted without penalty, and dropped in accordance with the procedures pescribed in Rule 24 2b(i) (immovable obstruction).
- PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE
- Match Play - Loss of hole.
- Stroke Play - Two strokes.
- Water Hazards.
- The pond to the right of the 1st/10th hole is a water hazard marked by yellow posts.
- The pond to the left of the 9/18th hole is a water hazard marked by yellow posts.
